Super Mario Source to be unveiled at E3 2012???

Okay I'm updating my blog because I got an email from Gabe Newell hinting a new Nintendo game at E3 2012. I actually emailed him to ask what kinds of games Valve will reveal at their E3 conference. I got this response:

"We're going to a different conference for part of our trip. The gloves are coming off there, if you know what I mean."

Now I may be bad at video game characters, but the only game character I can think of that wears gloves is Mario. Given his indentation of "gloves", I think it's safe to say that it's Super Mario Source.

I'm a little doubtful about this, though. How would Mario work on the Source engine (which is usually made for FPS's)? How would the platforming experience be upheld? I mean, I understand Gabe Newell's admiration for Super Mario 64, but will this game work, if it exists at all? Personally, I'd be better with a Metroid: Source type of game (IF it's a Nintendo game at all).

Those are my two cents on this. I may have misinterpreted, and I hope my hypothesis of Super Mario Source is incorrect, but that's what I heard, and that's what my current hypothesis is.

Travis Corporation to Head Into the Video Game Industry with "Glock's Gunfight Grumble"!

A few days ago, in an uninteresting turn of events, Travis Nelson, head of the "Travis Corporation", has announced his intention to create a video game. Today, he announced that the game he was designing was "Glock's Gunfight Grumble".

"It's nothing right now," said Travis. "I hope it gets done, to be honest."

The game is about a sentient gun shooting bullets at enemies. Travis did mention something about cinnamon rolls, but other than that nothing has been revealed, other than a website for the game.

"I've always wanted a game about me shooting cinnamon rolls!" said M17Glock, a user on T3E, when asked about this game.

We will bring more news when it arrives.

Karen Nelson Company Purchases Peach's Castle, Kingdom in Jeopardy?

Mushroom Castle, after a thousand years standing, finally has a set corporation that owns it - The Karen Nelson Company. This tops Bowser and Travis's purchases of Delfino Plaza and Yoshi's Island in terms of shocking purchases.

When asked what she would do with her new castle, Karen Nelson said, "The kingdom will stay, but they should try to make a new castle somewhere in it. I've bought the castle, fair and square, so I guess I get to keep it!"

This left our question unanswered.

"I'm not too worried," said Travis, when told the above. "There's plenty of other places to invest in. Maybe I'll buy Bowser's Castle sometime soon."

"No way!" shouted Bowser, upon hearing that his desired castle was to belong to Karen Nelson. "I thought I stomped her to the ground ages ago! How could she pull it off when I couldn't?!"

Of course, with purchases like this, there are bound to be nasty rumors about each purchase. Today's rumor is that Karen will take away the Mushroom Kingdom.

"I've lived in Peach's Castle for my whole life," said Toad, "and all I know is that a castle defines a kingdom. I sure hope that Karen won't make our kingdom 'the Karen Kingdom', because that doesn't even have a nice ring to it!"

There shouldn't be any reason to worry yet, since Peach is still negotiating with Karen about the terms of the purchase. "If all goes well, we'll keep our castle. It'll just be sponsored by Karen."

Travis Corporation Buys Yoshi's Island Days After Defeat at Delfino Plaza!

After being all but blotted out at Delfino Plaza by the Koopa Kingdom's King, Bowser, Travis decided to seek his fortune at Yoshi's Island. He met with both fresh investors and rival companies - Bianca Housekeeping, the Koopa Kingdom, and Slime Ink. (yes, that is the actual name, according to its top investor, Slime). Even though their intentions were different, they had one island on their minds - Yoshi's Island.

After buying out a lot of property, Travis obtained the gold needed to purchase the whole island. "Yes, I like this island. I think I shall keep the shops there," said Travis when asked to comment on his island.

There has been some controversy about what Travis is going to do with the population of Yoshi's Island. Rumors have been going around about whether Travis will enslave the native population. (We suspect that Bowser Jr. is spreading those rumors.)

"Don't worry, Yoshi's! - the island is yours," said Travis when asked to comment on those rumors. "I'm just here to set up shop."

This is the first time the Travis Corporation has actually bought a whole piece of land. He has not had any luck with anywhere else - especially not with Slime Ink. around.

"I think he'll have a gooey time with his island!" said Slime, undaunted by his situation. "He bought it, fair and square, so I'm going to leave. I'll be back for it, though!"

When asked what he would do next, Travis said, "I'm going to buy a new set of clothes for now."

Bowser Purchases Delfino Plaza, Travis Corporation All But Wiped Out!

In a shocking turn of events, Bowser has bought Delfino Plaza above the Mario Company, Angelo Inc. and the Travis Corporation.

Using his 15000G, Bowser took over every crook and nanny in the area. His major competitor was Travis Nelson, owner of the Travis Corporation, who failed because he had the most expensive shops in the area. Other competitors included Mario and Angelo.

When asked to comment on his newly purchased plaza, Bowser laughed with a "GWA HA HA" and said, "I'll annex this into the Kingdom of Koopa! It'll be my utopia!"

Of course, no one there likes Bowser, and some of the citizens of Delfino Plaza are declaring a revolution. "Bowser's gone too far! We want our paradise to be free from worries!"

Meanwhile, Mario's planning on heading back to the Mushroom Kingdom. His intention is now to see about purchasing his own Stadium back from the Nintendo company. "If I succeed, baseball tickets are free for the first 50 attendees!"

No word on where Angelo's going.

When asked about his predicament, Travis had nothing to say.

Bowser has big plans for Delfino Plaza. When we find out more, we'll let you know.

TCN News To Report On Fantasy News, More at 11

Okay, so this is a blog I decided to make out of boredom.

I will report on video game experiences that I can actually work into news articles. It's not going to be spectacular, but I hope that people will enjoy it for what it is - a fantasy news article.

That is all for now.
